The Edouardian Corpus
After months of preparations, purpose built situations handled, long meditations completed, it was time to begin the body of work for which Edouard, my soul, had come. Body and soul were ready to write, translations from the language of the Gods would be necessary. It was similar to Latin, in fact, the ancient form of the Latin used today and that from which the romance languages are derived.
Tae Primitae Aegeus
The Beginning of the Ages.
The universe, in it's beginning, was not of the composition of base elements that the scientists would have you believe. It was of a creation from that greater energy here-to-for known to you as God. Of God were the base elementals created. Indeed, they were a part of him, in different form, but once having been physically differentiated from the whole, took on new properties and form. So as, if one was able to combine all the elementals in their original form, one would see in truth the forming of the Great Energy, (EN 1).
In the beginning, the space, which now houses what we call our universe, was occupied by a colony of very powerful souls. To say that they were or are powerful is not enough. They are power, grace and light reaching far more infinite levels than man has yet been able to contemplate.
This colony was well separated from the main for its mission of creation. The great energies inherent to the members of the colony could create and or destroy with equal force. The act of creating this universe destroyed the nothingness which existed in this space before. They were then and are now masters of all that was and all that was not, all that is and all that is not. This colony, from which came the creation you know as our universe, is not alone. There are others, each with its own mission, each in its own stage of creation and/or age of evolution. Each has a similar structure but is unique in itself. Each is independent of the others and all are willing to accommodate the greater need.
The event called creation is unique, in a universe, in that it only happens once and for no specified length of time. All that is created echoes the thought, feeling, image and structure of the creator. There are other intangibles created such as time, space and many special forces we cannot see, gravity, centrifical and magnetic. Without creation there is no need for time, nothing relative. Time is the essence of evolution and also it's calendar. There is no evolution without the spark of life or drive to begin gained only from the creating force...L'Esperance.
You need only look to the other planets which surround your common sun. They exist today as they did at the time of creation, very little change, maybe some of the dust has settled, however, no further evolution. They are as earth was before the spark of life was ignited. Just because man lives here does not mean that he could not have lived elsewhere.
Thus far the words `Greater Energy', `Creator', and `God' have been used to identify the creating energy.
To further identify, there was the combining of three different energies, known as L'Esperance, Ashur Davide and Brianna. These three souls, in concert, were responsible for the universe as it began. They combined their particular energies in a way which is mirrored in the simplest atom containing a nucleus and revolving electrons. Creating for them was a deliberate act of love, of selflessness and extreme pain. The driving force behind creation energy is pain, where parts of a whole are torn away to be combined with others, thus creating something new.
L'Esperance is as his name suggests, the spirit, the light, the love, the steady, solid foundation of creation. It was his mission to create and the colony's mission to support him in his efforts. He was the nucleus. He gives every living thing, soul, man, animal and plant alike, that spark of life that enabled all to live and thrive.
Ashur Davide brought to the creative act his absolute masculinity, his brute force, his strength, his ability to suffer vast amounts of pain and his great desire to assist in creating. Those who meet Ashur Davide will meet him on his level, feel pain of his choosing and intensity. He's not soon forgotten by man or soul.
Brianna brought to creation her consummate beauty, her ultimate femininity, her undying love of freedom and equality and again her desire to assist in creation. Her shared beauty endows all souls with beauty. Her balance of femininity lightens the weight of masculinity given to all by Ashur Davide.
One may draw greater understanding of these three by turning to the French language and people. Here one sees that every noun in the language is given a gender designation. Not only is it given that designation but the French then live that designation. They love and hold dear those things given the feminine gender as they love a beautiful woman. The woman is not just beautiful on the outside but all the way through. Such is Brianna and that which she gave to creation. The French have a wonderful way of looking at the masculine. Just as Ashur Davide, their masculine can suffer any pain, grow to any strength and still be soft and loving. Long live the difference, yet each are equal in the eyes of the other.
Other groups from antiquity tended to mirror that portion of the creators which they inately sensed. The American Indian thought brings forth the need for freedom, the lack of boundaries, the Great Spirit overseeing all and providing all that is needed for survival. The ancient Incas sensed the need for community and ceremonial rites. The Greeks were proponents of law and order and the teaching of a higher order. The Chosen People of God lived that life of pain which so closely mirrored the pain of creation, subjecting one's self to pain for the honor and glory of the greater whole.
Any one contemplating the greater wonders of creation will begin to think and act in the manner of the creators. The thought is so powerful that it cannot be denied or overlooked.
The `Creatio'
How was creation begun? Members of the colony provided their abilities so that the planning and training necessary could take place, making sure that even the tiniest detail would not be overlooked.
When all was ready the participants took their places and the process began. L'esperance formed a great ball, or round shape with no smooth surfaces and began, slowly at first, to rotate. Ashur Davide formed an elongated band around L'Esperance and began a circular motion, similar to that of a satellite revolving around a planet. Brianna also formed herself into a band and rotated around both Ashur Davide and L'Esperance but in the opposite direction of Ashur.
There did not yet exist the human eyes to see the vast amounts of matter formed or the gigantic bolts of lightning and firey suns escaping. There were not yet ears to hear the roar of solar winds and the bone crushing thunder claps. There were but us in the colony from which this information comes. It is our time to speak and be heard through you. We were those souls who encircled the Three as they interacted. We provided their boundaries, their balance in every direction. Where we were touched in the frenzy, parts were torn away and became part of the greater whole. It is our way of love and pain, suffered proudly that you might become reality. That a world might exist in which you could live and grow.
To contemplate the sheer size of these souls one need look only to the night skies, they are as large as the vista presented. The immense energies given off as their countenances rotated against each other, the friction, the spark of new life, resulted in the formation of those base elementals; earth, wind, fire and water. The many suns, moons and planets of the galaxy were thrown off until the three were spent, tired.
Why this planet, why life here? It was their choice, quite simply, because this place showed the most promise and the greatest challenge. By mixing their volatile creating energies with very specific amounts of earth, wind, fire and water wonderful forms of life could be created which could survive this rough environment. Thus it was done. Plants were formed, fishes, animals of every kind and finally their favorite, man. He would be given the ability to grow, flourish and learn to think.
With the `Creatio' being completed, the members of the colony, with the blessing of the Three, would begin the `Animas,' the enlivenment of the creation. One must imagine the creation, grass, trees, animals, in that state of mere existence, not alive, not dead. One could compare the existence to that observed in a wax museum where the subjects appear to be life-size and real, but there is still no life.
The `Animas'
The members of the colony began the Animas by working in pairs with the tiniest of the created organisms. The two would place themselves on either side of the plant or animal and pass their life-giving energies through the object, back and forth to each other, in a zigzag pattern. It took little effort for the smaller, one-celled organisms but much greater amounts of energy to give life to the great dinosaurs. Man underwent the same process and there existed not many in number at the time.
The process of Animas not only gave life to the subject, it also gave that subject a way to give life to another of its kind. This is the echoing of the creators. We created, gave life to the created, now the created shall be as we are and create and give life to its own. Each was given the best possible way of procreating itself.
Grasses which cover and soften the surface of the earth were given seeds which could be borne on the wind or in the beaks of birds which fly or in the bellies of the beasts which travel from place to place. So detailed was the plan of the Animas that the grasses would feel the warmth of the sun and procreate, then feel the cold of winter and lie dormant or simply die knowing that its seed would grow again in the coming warm sun.
This does not mean that there were not failures. There were species created which could not adapt to the rough environment of the earth in its early stages. Some faltered because it was too cold or too warm, others could not tolerate the food supplied. Some lacked the necessary minerals needed to produce viable seed and thus became extinct.
Animas also allowed for the many variants and mutations caused by universal forces such as solar flares and x-rays and gamma rays which occasionally bombarded the earth and interfered with the genetic structures of forming seeds. It allowed for little chance of the mixing of the species but where it was possible to mix, there was no complaint.
The process of enlivenment, Animas, does not mean the giving of a soul to the created one, it only gave life and the possibilities of sustaining that life. One can live without a soul being present as man did for such a long period of time. In fact the other objects of creation did not have souls and do not now. It is not necessary.
The `Creatio' formed the black and white of the universe, the `Animas' created the melding, the gray.
From their softer parts the many untold millions of souls were created and enlivened. As was their plan from the beginning a caretaker for all was created. We know him today as God. He, too, has a tripartite nature, a mirror image.
With creation complete, the three were exhausted, disembodied, so to speak, as the vast majority of themselves now existed in the physical plane where none had existed before. They would separate for the many millennia except for the times necessary to check on their creation. L'Esperance would remain with the caretakers, empower them, embue them with his grace and light.
To say that God was created is a bit of a misnomer. A house was begun, a position was created with the same tripartite structure as the creating force. Three souls were chosen to fill the chairs. The overall mission of “This Royal House” would be to oversee the process of evolution. The principal leader of the house would be called the Lord God. Each soul who filled the role would have a personal mission as well as that of the "House" in general. Being Lord God would require expenditure of vast amounts of energies over great lengths of time. As each finally became exhausted from the work, he would pass on the office to a successor.
It is possible to search the geological record of the universe, Grolier (1991) and find evidence of the influences of each of the succeeding houses. Scientists identify them in terms of “Ages” such as the “Mesozoic,” “Early, Middle and Late Triassic,” “Jurassic,” “Ice,” “Stone,” and others. Each Succeeding Lord God had a mission to accomplish and man can now find how he was affected by each and attempt to begin to understand his relationship to God in each era. It becomes evident that each house has attempted to help man better understand his own nature and in the more modern times to better understand the nature of God.
Evolutions Begins
Evolution is not the opposite of creation but a necessary byproduct. It is an energy, not in opposition to the explosive energy of creating, but has a calming, enmeshing effect on all. It is under this influence that man can grow, develop, evolve...if you will. His environment becomes less violent, more livable. This energy can be compared favorably to that beautiful, steady, sixty- cycle energy measured on the screen of an ociliscope. It is as rythmic as the heartbeat of man.
The first to hold the office of Lord God is handed the reins of a very wild, untamed world. Share with me, for a moment, the vision he was first given, (EN 2). There is a wind blowing, howling like the fierce winds of the night in the Sahara, Nature's Music (1988). The land masses are unstable, moving, quaking. Volcanoes erupting, spewing lava and great clouds of smoke into the air. There are great fires. The great expanses of water offer no stability either, the tides, not yet acclimated to the pull of the moon, flood the land often. He sees his first mission as one of attempting to calm the ferocious elements. It will cost vast amounts of energy and he is given free will to use all he needs.
He sees, also, the many animals and is impressed at the sheer size of the great dinosaurs and by the quickness of all the others who hide from them lest they be eaten or trampled.
He sees the many plants, from grasses to trees, which provide food and shelter. He sees man, an upright creature with body hair, head bowed forward. He appears to be falling forward as he trips along searching for food or shelter. He is about four feet tall, and knows not of his God or any creating forces.
The Lord God looks around himself and sees his two brothers, feels a bond of love and support and finds great comfort in them. They will assist as He needs. He sees also the millions of souls who need guidance and who will aid in the melding of the great energies. They will move freely through this new world adding their influences in stabilizing a food supply for all, an environment in which all can live, following the directions of the Lord God. These souls feel the influence of the creation energies, the pain hanging so fresh in the air. They take on the attitude of the warrior as if to protect themselves. They do not yet feel the love which they will come to know as the trademark of the Lord God.
He sees beauty in an ugly, near vile background. He sees promise. He loves the creation and all those in it.
The work of the Lord God has begun. He walks upon the mighty oceans and calms the tidal waves lest they continue to destroy the land. He rides the winds, calming their destructive force, lest they destroy the growing things on the earth. He lives in the trunks of the tall trees, lending his strength lest they be blown over. He goes beneath the earth to absorb the boiling heat and calm the volcanic activity which clouds the skies and blocks the sunlight from the earth.
He stands with man, erect, aware of the warming sun above his head, the soft grass beneath his feet, the warm rain on his face and the breeze running through his hair. Because of this man knows that day will follow night, the sun will shine and he will be warm. He will look skyward in the night, see the twinkling stars and begin to dream. The rain will fall and his thirst will be quenched. The breezes will blow and the sweat of his brow will evaporate. The plants will grow and he can pick the nuts and berries to fill his hungry stomach. The earth still moves occasionally under his feet but his life is becoming more stable. Man sees this earth as the provider of all he needs, he knows it not but his bonding with mother earth begins.
Evolution Continues...
The patriarchs of the first house spend their energies and are happy that their mission is realized. They turn over the reins of power to their successors. A new Lord God comes of age and the evolution of the Royal House continues. Man will probably grow another inch taller, begin to eat some different foods so he can survive the changes in the food chain and the environment. He has survived the first eternity and moves past this milestone into the next. He still won't know his God.
The evolution of man closely mirrors the evolution of his God. As the house of the Lord God grows, so does man. The second, third and fourth generations of the “House” are quite similar. It takes a great deal of energy on their parts to calm the elements, reduce the effects of the creating energy. Each must also live in close proximity with L'Esperance as He ages, flexing and relaxing His creative might. He as always brings balance, as He relaxes and the creative energies cool, the energies of evolution take greater hold. The process is not instant, the many millennia record it on the face of the earth.
In the earliest of times man has lived in the river valleys where food and water has been constant and plentiful, where there was little risk of failure. Always he lived under the watchful eye and protective arm of a God he did not yet know.
The fifth generation Lord God would add some new changes in the lives of man. Man was multiplying and filling the delta regions, he numbered in the thousands. Groups lived together in bands for comfort and protection. They had learned to use rudimentary tools for hunting and gathering. It was time for souls to begin working within the bodies, influencing the thinking processes, getting man more in line with the necessary change.
This fifth Lord God influenced man to go on hunting forays outside the delta regions. It had the twofold effect of allowing man to see more of his world and also increased man's food supply. The souls who lived within man then were warrior types who could lend their strength to situations where great acts of bravery were necessitated. Large cats on the plains would attack and man would have to learn to think of strategies to protect himself or be killed. Thus began the workings of man and soul, two working as one, even if in such a rudimentary way.
This Lord God could say to his successor that man can learn. All that we've expected of him has been accomplished and much more can be done. The souls assigned to assist have added great speed and assuredness in the process of forward growth, more can be enlisted to do the same for the next era to come. Thusly, the fifth retires and the reign of the sixth begins.
If man can leave the deltas for short hunting trips and survive, then surely he can live on the plains and go further on into the mountains, (EN 3). Man is growing taller now that he is eating more red meat. He is over five feet tall, stronger than ever, has good hunting weapons and fire. He’s learning to communicate and so is his God.
Souls were staying with bodies longer, some even for years. Language was making it easier for them to influence their “man.” Some of the souls were beginning to feel a bond with the body it inhabited, beginning to love the work, the man and the God. Soon this would infiltrate the thinking of man.
The reign of the seventh begins. Ah, man, this wonderful creature is showing his ability to survive. He is moving to the close mountains, living in caves, using fire to keep warm in the higher altitudes, wearing skins for clothes, learning simple cultivation to provide a more even food supply. Changes are even occurring among them, some are becoming darker, others whiter, some very tall and others short. Those alike tend to gather together as man begins to notice the differences.
Man is learning to use the water for pleasure, swimming, bathing. He has developed small dugouts and floats so that he can move on the water, travel from one place to another to hunt or fish. He finds ways to carry water to his new habitats which do not have water. He is mastering his first elemental and the Lord God is pleased. Soon he shall add a sail to the small crafts and learn to use the wind. Man has long used fire but only now is learning to use it freely and on demand. He takes the earth for granted but does not yet use it to his advantage well.
Souls are working a great deal with the Lord God before coming to inhabit bodies. They take instructions from Him and attempt to help man as they are instructed. They find bonding with man easier and stay with bodies for many years in their attempts at influence, always urging new thought. They find great pleasure in serving the Lord God. Their levels of responsibility grow. If but one of the many thousands who come here can get one man to think of using a sail to harness the wind, the collective glory will be great. Even with communication difficult and the work slow, all strive for advancement of the higher thought.
At this point in evolution L'Esperance has relaxed His creating energies and encapsulated them. He recovers still from the pain of the creating act and has remained alone without the colony being near. He lives now with the Lords.
God, giving each, in his time, free will to do all that needs be done. He blesses their efforts with his immense love. His plan is taking shape. The Lord God is mastering the heavens and man is mastering the earth, someday the twain shall meet.
In the beginning, the time which the Lord God held the office was rather lengthy and energy used was low. As the energy level used was turned up by the later houses the length of time in office lessened. As man began to need more and more of his God, in terms of protection and guidance, the more energy God needed, wanted and expected to spend. The need for and spending of energy was assessed by the Lord God since man had not yet learned to pray.
As the eighth Lord God came to power, there evolved in the House a protocol, pomp and circumstance, if you will, as the staff was passed. L'Esperance would guide the newest Lord through each of the preceeding houses all the way back to the beginnings of the colony so that nothing would be lost in the ages, (EN 4). He would meet and greet each former Lord God in the midst of his era or eternity, converse with each and feel the bond of love which keeps the houses united.
A “Hall of Eight” was formed where the newest could gain insight from each of His predecessors on the new and serious issues concerning his reign, the use of souls and the cares of man. The complexities of the office were building and the advice of all would be needed. Here, in this forum, each could speak his mind and all would listen. The will of the presiding Lord God would be tempered by all, enhanced by all. There was room for disagreement but all knew that the Lord God of the present needed the support of all. Each knew that change was the trademark of every reign, and no matter how great the pain of the necessary change, each would suffer it gladly. The older Lords would never cease to marvel at the growth and strength of the younger.
The mission of the eighth was to settle the earth. Man now numbered in the millions and three times that number of souls were now serving in many capacities. The Lord God and his two brothers would be very busy coordinating the effort. The plan for getting the population dispersed over the entire earth would be simple yet unique.
Each of the three would go and live with a different group of people and let their presence be felt by the leader of the group. Once the leader became accustomed to this presence and developed confidence in it, the Lord would move a short distance away, but where the leader could find Him again. The leader would move his people to the comfortable place once again and be happy...only for a while. The Lords would again move and repeat the process as often as it took to move the tribes all over the land masses. If it took a hundred years to move a hundred miles, then so be it. Time was important to all. The speed at which they moved pleased the Lord God and the slow pace of the move gave man the opportunity to adapt to his new environments.
One side effect from this plan was that the leaders were beginning to believe that they were of a higher nature than their followers. They began to deify themselves, expect special favors from all the others. They became kings, queens, chiefs, elders and the like. They passed their rankings on to their children. The souls guiding these leaders learned along with man the necessity for justice and honor, what was fair and unfair, (EN 5). Not all had happy endings in that the easy path was followed most of the time by man and souls were not able to teach him that there were many other options available.
Thus the many were again scarce and had room to flower and grow to tens of millions in number. All of the many clans could grow in their own way. All felt a higher power existed and began to look for it even though they knew not Him for whom they searched.
For some this higher power took on the attributes of animals upon which the particular group depended. If it were a water buffalo that provided the staple of meat for and the domestic power for the activities of daily living, then their God was a water buffalo. It would be revered and found sacred. Special rites and taboos would be developed for its worship. For others it would be a place, a sacred mountain or river, a rock, a desert.
Man had developed a feeling for his God and this concept would have to be carefully guided. Man covered the insides of caves with drawings of those he admired and respected.
Man was still growing, some were now over six feet tall, he developed games of skill and competition. Strength and fertility took on infinitely greater meaning. He was beginning to feel his power and learning how to manipulate his fellow man.
Souls were feeling change also. Those who had lived within man for a number of times were feeling less and less the effects of the original creation energy, loosing, to a degree, some of their brutish, warrior nature. They were operating more on their own, needing less guidance, and gaining more the trust of the Lord God. The more they worked, the more mature they became and the more the Lord God could ask of them. A hierarchy was developing out of necessity as the more mature souls aided and taught the less mature. Love and bonding simply happened. Growth simply happened.
One may pause here and reflect on the Divine plan as it unfolds. The creation is complete, the creator relaxes and turns over that creation to the family of caretakers envisioned from the beginning. As each Lord God, in his eternity, succeeds the last, a pattern evolves. It begins with God having to be mother to man, protecting him from the ravages of the environment and the savage creating energies still emanating from the beginning. The first few Lords spend vast amounts of time and energy calming the potent energies and in reality spend little energy, in comparison, involving themselves in the lives of man.
As the eternities pass, changes occur. Creation energy subsides and the Lords concentrate more of their attention on helping man develop in his world. As the need is seen for man to develop further, souls are used to influence him, hopefully teach him new ways of doing things which will make his world a better place to live. Man is still quite naive, not knowing his maker or his soul, he is developing a feeling for something higher than himself.
Enter Eden, the ninth and as yet most powerful soul to enter the office of Lord God. There had been developed a process for selection of that soul who would succeed the eighth. The competition was fierce and lengthy. He who was selected would be strong in all areas tested. He would be worthy and prove so in his reign. The two souls who finished the competition closest to him would fill the other chairs. Such power, might and beauty. These three, now bonded in brotherhood, would work as one and bring great glory to their royal house.
The mission of the ninth House would be that of teaching man that there is, in reality, a level of being or existing, higher than his own. There is a god, or more appropriately understood by mankind at the time, there are many gods. This house would be ultimately more complex than the last, the brothers' roles would be more clearly defined. This Lord God could not be, would not have the time to be, a nomad as were his predecessors. He would need a house or structure from which to operate. A place to call home. Thusly, he embarked on a long and prosperous reign.
The “Hall of Eight” was also growing, maturing. On the appointed day they were convened in a new temple called the “Great Hall of Understanding.” It was a magnificent place with nine columns of marble arranged in a circle. At the base of each column was a marble platform raised above the floor by a step. The domed roof glistened in the noonday sun. Flowers bloomed in the surrounding gardens.
As the time drew near each former Lord God entered and took his place on his platform. Behind each stood the two brothers. All were wearing the long blue velvet robes of the office. As all were in place, Eden was summoned. He entered the great hall, a third of the distance to the center, accompanied by his brothers. The three bowed to all and knelt on one knee. All, who were convened, raised their arms and collectively blessed the three.
At that point Eden was asked to rise and come to the center of the hall. His brothers were escorted to the platform below the ninth column. Eden was greeted and embraced by the Lord God and then left to stand alone for all to see and measure for themselves. The Lord God then took from Eden his name, gave it to an attending archangel, who in turn would carry it to mother earth for safekeeping for an eternity. With no use for a name, from this day forth he would be called Lord God. The Eight applauded as one.
Next was passed the crown bearing the insignias of each predecessor. On the third finger of his right hand was placed a ring bearing a replica of the Phoenix. The staff of power and life was placed in his left hand. Gifts from each member of the family were presented. The Lord God honored his two brothers as He had been honored, mounted the platform, and began to speak.
He spoke of his endearing love for all present, of his mission, of his desire to bring honor to this royal conclave. He spoke of the changes to come where the house was concerned, where man was concerned, where all that was created was concerned. He then asked each of the other Eight to speak their minds.
As the day ended, each of the eight left to attend to his works. The new Lord God attended to his new kingdom. A new heaven and a new earth would be exciting work indeed!
He began His mission. The Lord God chose many souls from among those who had joined in the competition. He needed their special talents. Some could fashion lightning bolts and hit targets with deadly accuracy with them. Others were graceful and sleek athletes, some archers and javelin throwers. Some possessed such beauty that could not be resisted, some cunning and daring. Each who wished to serve could do so with his or her special skills.
Each would be empowered to introduce him or herself to mankind as best each could. If it took lightning bolts to get man's attention, then permission was granted to use them. It would take time, all knew this. As the more powerful souls were able to make contact, the lesser ones could be introduced by them. Men would come to know these souls as Gods. Great stories would develop as they mingled with the lives of men. Man would soon learn to pray to these gods and get results, thus prompting more prayers and more stories of these wondrous helpers from the heavens. Man would still not know the Lord God.
The myriads of souls coming here to work in the bodies of men were commissioned to help man understand the “Gods” and proffer the tales to help get man more in tune with his higher nature. Slowly man learned of Zeus, Mars, Hera and the like. Man also began to pattern his life and his ways after these gods. He developed symbolic rituals and offered sacrifices of flesh. In return the gods would guarantee good harvests and fertile wives, many children and long lives. Such wondrous works by souls with man who was so hard of hearing. Dreamscape was becoming the proving ground of the soul.
Not far from the Great Hall of Understanding the Lord God began construction of his house, and a delightful structure it was. Amid the columns on the front of the house were three entrances. Visitors used the main entrance and could be greeted in one of two large waiting rooms which were richly appointed with gilded mirrors and fine furniture. From here each could be guided by an attending angel to his or her appointed place or person. The entrance to the left was used by the administrators, those souls who received reports from outside and collected information to be passed on to the Lord God. There were a variety of offices surrounding the main office. The entrance to the right was used by family and visitors invited there to spend time with the family. There were day rooms and several bedrooms for their comfort. Entertainment was always available.
All three entrances led to a great hall in the center of which was a wide spiral staircase with fountains on either side. The staircase led to the second floor which was lined with suites occupied by the “Gods” and their families. The Lord God well rewarded those who worked so hard and so tirelessly for him. Even after their time of influence was over they were welcome to remain. All were welcome and dearly loved.
Amid the suites on the second floor was a small narrow staircase ascending to the third floor. It opened suddenly into what at first appears to be a grand ballroom and extends to about as far as one can see.
To the far right, busy at work, were beings, the likes of which, man has never seen. They were building prototype structures which resemble Indian teepees, igloos, houses made of wood, brick and plastic. Before living with men souls could come here to learn new building techniques and attempt to teach men during their tenures. The idea was that if men lived easier lives they could devote more time learning from their souls and learn more about the Lord God. Aside from housing, many things were developed such as the great pyramids and stairways to the stars.
Other things developed here were the great implements of war, from catapults to armored tanks to ray guns to explosives. The great brother of stately form named Armageddon, who has power enough in each arm to crush a galaxy or to caress the softest cheek, oversees these developments.
The opposite end of the great ballroom floor houses the evolution of the finer things for man. Souls can come here to learn the latest in dance, balance in living, food preparation, living together, alternate life styles, the practice of medicine. They are taught well by the great Brother Zen, the thinker. He teaches love. His teaching on balance evolves to the point where evil is seen as needed as well as good, forever a contrast, a standard for comparison. Primarily he teaches souls to help man to think for himself. His influence reaches far indeed.
Man is learning from his God. He is influenced by the Lord God to love or at least begin to love. He feels his own strength as the brother Armageddon merely flexes and relaxes. He begins to feel secure within himself as he begins to think as he is urged to do so by the brother Zen.
Man numbers about a hundred million, is living around the globe and has many names for his gods. He prays alone and in groups, thanking, adoring and pleading. As the heavens mature, so does man under it's influence. Man is forming his simple codes for behavior in groups for common good such as the early Greek polis. He is learning to master the waterways for trade and profit, the early Phoenicians were master ship builders and sailors. The Egyptians were learning to use paper. Tools were now becoming commonplace for all as a result of metallurgical advances. Communication and language skills become the backbone of all the advancements of man.
So much growth has never before been seen in so short a time period. The plans had come together. The Lord God, souls and man working together can accomplish much!
Behind the scenes another kind of change is taking place. The Lord God has chosen to adopt three souls and raise them as his own sons. It is his hope that the three will succeed him at the end of his time. They are prepared for the competitions and they do well under his tutelage. They do, indeed, become family and are respected as such. They grow in grace and light, they study with Zen and Armageddon. The sons are shown no mercy in the trials, they must do well to continue if they are to succeed. Again many thousands compete, all push to the limits.
The eldest son does do well and is chosen to follow his father. He is prepared in many ways. As he formulates his future mission he realizes the need to be different from his father. A great stir is caused in the heavens. A member of the original colony comes to work with and enable him to do those things necessary. For the first time a soul is able to bi-locate, be in two places at once, one new and startling ability. Now he can learn twice as much, twice as fast. This son was able to do this seven times and was also able to bring all seven parts back to the whole with the knowledge each gained in tact. This ability would serve him well in the future.
The other two adopted brothers did equally as well so an order of succession was decided. The eldest or firstborn son would become Lord God. There would be no question, the eldest would lead and all the younger ones would follow. This filtered down to man and many tribes and clans began to use a similar order.
The Lord God confers with L'Esperance as his reign draws to a close and reports that all is well. Together they see that man has learned that there are higher beings and, in fact, man has become enthralled with them. They are ready for more knowledge of their God. So it shall be as Emmaus takes command.
Enter a new Lord God, the tenth to succeed, the noble one, the multidimensional one. He has learned well from his father who will remain in an extended advisory role. He will need all of his special abilities to accomplish his mission.
The pomp and celebrations subside, the new Lord God calls together his staff and instructs them thusly: “I love my people and from this day forward I want them to know me as their one God, the source of all their strength. There shall be no other Gods in their lives.”
Slowly, under the guidance of Eden, the many gods who worked so diligently for him retired to their suites. As they did so their influence was no longer felt. As the priests and sorcerers lost their powers, their practices would fade away. It would take a few centuries, old habits die hard, their era was over.
The souls agreeing to do so were bringing a new message of the One God to the minds of men. This One God was more powerful than all the old gods put together. He would protect them from all harm, provide for all their needs. He would be the source of their love and strength. Man did not readily accept this message universally. He was comfortable with his gods and did not wish to give them up for any reason.
This Lord God was to prove to be different from all of his predecessors. He had learned much from his mentor from the colony. He now believed in love and would live or die by his beliefs. He loved all around him from within Himself and would not be deterred from loving them by their actions or words. He had seen that his father was chosen to become the Lord God because of his powerful love, it won out over absolute strength and superior thought. Love was the path for him to follow.
This being so, he would guide all in the ways of love. He would give all around him free will. Each would be permitted to observe and feel the love of the Lord God, then be free to make up his or her own mind. There would be no loss of love whatever the choice. This concept was so new and so different that it was debated to great extents in the Hall of Understanding. All grew from the many arguments. The great question was, How can one rule by giving those ruled the right to refuse to be ruled? His argument was that love had power of its own and that souls and men would learn to treat others as He treated them. Love would triumph. Not all were convinced but all agreed to lend their support to the presiding Lord God. His word and his desires took precedence over all else.
Souls who came to live in human bodies had to change their former warrior-like attitudes to conform to the wishes of the Lord God. It was a great test for them, not all did well but all began to learn that their Lord God was very patient, kind and forgiving. He would give them every opportunity to serve and learn. As they learned of love, they influenced man to do also. Man was now living in communities of all sizes and in close proximity to other men. He would need to learn to love.
Shortly after taking office the Lord God enlisted the help of thousands of souls to build his palatial residence. It had to include a room for each soul who worked for the Royal House in any capacity. Just as his father before him had cared for the gods of his time, the souls who earned it would be rewarded similarly now. It was a remarkable structure. It housed all of his administrative offices and guest facilities, surrounded by arboretums and rose gardens which were his personal favorites.
He recognized the voids created when the many gods retired and left vast numbers of peoples without support. He then appointed souls to guide and fill the lack. They would be given power to answer the prayers they felt comfortable answering and bring to the father the larger or more intricate ones. They were given titles such as the Lord of the High Church of Alexandria, or the Lord of the Eastern Church. Each would be responsible for the day to day operations in their respective area. Each could procure a staff if needed to assist in the necessary tasks. Each Lord would report directly to the Lord God.
Once this vast administrative network was put in place and operating the Lord God could spend more time and energy on other matters.
This Lord God, who loved and admired his father to such great extents, wanted to give him a gift which would last forever, something of himself. He wished to offer Eden a grandson. Adopting a son or sons would not do for this adventuresome God, he would learn how to create souls from his soul. Surely, if he could replicate himself, he could form another different soul in his image and likeness. Again he returned to his mentor from the colony for assistance.
His mentor agreed to correlate the necessary activities. The Lord God would go into seclusion for several weeks and leave his brother in charge. While in seclusion he must contemplate which attributes he wished to give to his son and place them in the forefront of his thoughts, then relax and wait. For the first time since the original creation the three were again assembled. L'Esperance, Ashur David and Briana were ecstatic at the opportunity to share themselves. It would raise the level of the Lord God to such great heights never before imagined. After weeks of preparation all were ready. Each participant offering that which he or she wanted to give to the offspring. As he was invited to do, the Lord God joined with L'Esperance to form the nucleus. With Briana and Ashur David in their places, it was as before, in the very beginning, sparks flew and this time a joyful noise was heard. A new soul was born, and then in the excitement of the moment, there was another, twins!
All were congratulated by the mentor who suggested that these two could not alone fill the tripartite structure. His logic was made soul and a third was born. Such a gift no soul has been able to give since. Such a heritage these three have, such powers, graces and light. A place was needed where these children, so new and so fresh could grow, undisturbed. Such was skillfully crafted, Atlantis served its purpose well.
In the weeks when the Lord God and L'Esperance were away, the worst of any great fears was realized. There entered the kingdom, in disguise, an evil one, offering great powers to the brother in charge. He was tricked and chose this evil path from which there was no turning back. The great brother Zen had always said that evil would one day find its way into the family but no one ever believed it possible. Zen also knew that evil being present would bring a sense of balance to what had so far been a very one-sided world. Now souls would have a real test, follow the ways of the evil one or the way of love which had for so long been available to them. It would now be more difficult than ever to earn one's place in the great palace.
Heaven and earth would never be the same again. From this day on, until he could be repatriated, the one brother choosing evil would be exiled from the heavens, his name banished, not spoken again until such time as his reinstatement. Such insult and injury he brought to the House.
The third and youngest member of the tripartite Godhead was known as the Lord San Simeon. He was first to bring to the attention of the Lord God that souls who were staying in bodies longer than a couple of years were having problems which needed discussion and solutions.
The first and oldest problem was one of communicating with a body. It begged for solution through the last two or three eternities without satisfaction. Man either could not hear or did not listen very often. When he did get a new idea through this process he chose it as his own rather than give credit where it was due: to the soul.
Secondly, souls were getting enthralled with the human trappings and forgetting from whence they came. While in bodies for lengthy periods, they were unable to communicate with San Simeon at all. Much was being forgotten. This would need to be changed also if the work of the Lord God was to succeed.
A third problem was that souls leaving bodies after a lengthy stay were forgetting where they needed to go, whom they needed to see and some were even forgetting their own identities. This needed to change.
A fourth was that men were being influenced easily by the now evil brother and this increased the workload for the souls in those bodies. They, too, were frightened that the Lord God would hold them responsible if “their” body turned toward the evil ways. Some felt helpless, hopeless since they could not change man.
A conclave in the great Hall of Understanding was called. Up until this point only those with the title of Lord God had been allowed to speak here. In a “first of its kind” action the Ten invited the Lord San Simeon to speak on the conditions he found with the souls under his care. He did speak, and eloquently so. The Lords agreed that the problems had been allowed to persist for too great a time. All offered suggestions, pure logic was found to be difficult to be followed in the field. Many actions would be tested and Lord San Simeon would report the results.
Groups of souls would be given very simple, yet specific messages to carry with them as they inhabited a body. Another group of souls would be asked to retrieve the message from the carriers after varying lengths of time. Only fragments of messages were recovered. Lord San Simeon was unable to retrieve messages from them, nor were they able to hear him directly to receive messages. Man had begun to think so much on his own that he no longer needed to listen to his soul.
The Lord God was still very young in his reign, still filled with energy. It was his will that this problem be solved. Such a dilemma he was presented with: How could a great and comforting Lord God, who would be their One God, express his love for souls with whom he could not communicate? He grew restless. He would not be content until he found a way to talk with the souls he was sworn to protect when they were away from his presence. Decisions and changes were required.
The extreme importance of the decision necessitated careful consideration. He knew he was young and inexperienced, so he turned to his father , Eden, and his brother San Simeon. Together they decided that his two older sons, the twins, would be sent as his direct emissaries. Surely, with the purity of their light and grace, they would be able to communicate with their father after arriving in human bodies. In preparation, the three of them practiced every form of communication known to them under the watchful eyes of Eden and San Simeon. All possible preparation conceived was undertaken to maximize success.
Lord San Simeon would report to the Lords in the Hall of Understanding. Such a risk the Lord God was undertaking. As two were being sent, if the experiment failed, the pain of loss would be great. He loved his children more than he loved himself. He knew also the awesome precedent he was setting in motion. This would be the first time any member of the House of the Caretakers had lived in a human body.
The former Lords would wonder if he was degrading the House to a ruinous extent or would man realize the level to which his existence would be raised. Debate was just that, debate. The will of the presiding Lord God would be followed.
Finally all was ready. The site selected, a beautiful garden paradise, was named after their grandfather. The bodies were chosen. It would be ideal. Nothing left to chance where the sons of the Lord God were concerned. These two souls, young, strong as the Greek athlete, powerful in grace and light, as was the duty in their family, left their abode in Atlantis for their destination.
They made the transition from pure soul to adult human form with their knowledge of who they were and why they were here intact, but like all those who had come before them, they, too, were unable to hear the voice of their father! The great truth became evident. It was as many of the Lords had predicted, failure. But they would not be brought back instantly. Give them a chance.
Even though they became enthralled with all the human trappings, all was not lost, for they still had each other. For many human years they lived in harmony and love with one another in this beautiful earthly setting. As might be expected in many human families, circumstances arose that split them apart. Without that communication with their father, their goal and objective began to dim in intensity. Their need to successfully complete that which they started no longer was important to them.
The high ideals that they had been taught to live by were replaced by human emotions. They had now forgotten the many lessons of Atlantis, forgotten the many debates with their uncles in which they learned so much.
The Lord God chose not to interfere as he watched what was already bad, but manageable, turn for the worse. His younger twin son is being tempted by his banished, evil uncle. The younger one is offered the opportunity for great power now because later the older twin will inherit the Father's house and kingdom leaving him without. Jealousy, an emotion alien to a soul but very familiar to the human, caused him to accept without ever knowing his true destiny.
The deed was done, the split complete. The older brother, who's human body was known as Adam, wept and grieved so over the loss of his twin and soul mate that something had to be done. Such pain the human form had not felt before.
Again the Lord God, Eden and San Simeon conferred, concluding that change was needed to ensure the safety and well being of Adam. It was hoped that the younger twin could be restored, but until such time as that could be accomplished, Adam must be cared for.
The decision arrived upon by the three was that Adam needed a special companion to help him in his time of grief and sadness. During a deep sleep, his soul would be split into those parts which could be separated. He would remain totally masculine and the newly separated part would be totally feminine. This feminine part would be named Eve. It was planned that she would be a great comfort and consolation to him. In time, she would become a totally independent soul with the same heritage as the eldest son and together would inherit all, bonded forever in love. A truly idealistic concept with no provision for the human element. An experiment that was no more certain than any other.
This was an extremely frustrating time for the Lord God. Young, inexperienced in dealing with souls in human bodies directly; each episode was an experiment with no known outcome. He learned. He sought to gain control of the situation. Whatever the intent, this experiment was also not as successful as anticipated. Now there were two new souls to cope with in this Garden of Eden. There was no way to know or predict how each would react to the circumstances they encountered. Adam was different, his personality unpredictable. Eve was young, a complete unknown. Never had the patriarchal society of the House ever known the feminine by itself, something new had been created.
This was an extremely painful time for Adam. His soul, literally torn in two, was no longer the same as it had been. Not only had they split him into two parts, but he no longer had the basic freedom that he had come to expect. During this same sleep, in an attempt to alleviate further problems with the evil one, his ability to come and go as he pleased was taken from him. His soul must now stay with the body or both body and soul would perish. All this had been done without his knowledge or permission. Long since having lost his ability to hear, there was no way to discuss plans with him. He could only react emotionally to the restrictions he felt.
Homesick and still grieving the loss of his family, he saw Eve not as a comfort, but as one on whom he could vent his frustrations. He did not see her as his missing self. He saw her as weak and undeserving.
She, because she was so purely feminine, so new and uninhibited, could hear and could be comforted by the Lord God. Emotionally alone and confused, she turned to the Lord God often. He was there for her always. No one understood why, but by not coming into the world to live in a body as others had, and not having the added burden of both masculine and feminine characteristics, she was able to hear where others could not.
Not understanding, and certainly not taking the time to try to understand, her ability angered an already hurting Adam.
Neither understood the bond that they shared. Neither knew where the other had come from. Adam might have understood if he could have heard, but Eve was too inexperienced to understand the concept behind her birth. Neither understood the pain that was a part of their everyday lives.
She frequently called on the Lord God for guidance, and he, in turn, urged her to do what she could for this most beloved of souls. She did, but no one would ever say that they lived that illusion called “happily ever after” in their garden of Eden. It was a time of great stress and sadness for Eve. Always trying to do all she could for one she loved as much as she loved the Lord God whom she learned to call Father. She felt failure in the only mission entrusted to her.
The younger twin did meet with her often, tempting her with that which he could not deliver: Adam's love and understanding. It was a lesson hard learned, but she came to understand the one living on the dark side. Even her father failed to guide her where the errant twin was concerned. He no longer understood his lost son.
Their human bodies aged, the Lord San Simeon was sent to retrieve the two souls. He would bring them back to their home in Atlantis for a time of rest and recovery. They had served the family and evolutionary history well. Their adventure in Eden's garden would be remembered by every soul who came to live in a human body.
Such a homecoming! If the tears of joy which were shed by all were turned to raindrops the whole earth would have been flooded. The Lord God welcomed his elder son Edouard home, such a loving embrace shared by the two of them. He then welcomed his new daughter who was called Elzabeth and introduced her to all. Such pride a father can show.
It was now time to contemplate the lessons learned and turn those lessons into actions for the future. It was time to remember that wonderful day in the Hall of Understanding when he mounted the platform and began to speak, “My Father, you have shown the peoples of the world that there are powers stronger than themselves by showing them the many gods: Zeus, Thor, and so on. I will take evolution that one step further. I will be the One God and all souls shall know me as such. I will send my emissaries and teachers. I shall choose a people and prepare them....”
The best emissaries he could send were his children. It was truly painful to do so, but maybe he could do it again, in different circumstances. It was a great milestone that one of the royal family had lived in the human form. Time would bear witness to the correctness of this issue.
The lives of Adam and Eve underscored the importance of the masculine and the feminine. It was the first time anyone had seen them separated and free of the other. From this time on a protocol for engenderment would be used. Every soul carried with it both masculine and feminine characteristics. Beginning now each soul would choose a gender preference and all would respect that choice. One choosing femininity would now live only in human female bodies. Those choosing masculinity would live only in human male bodies. Each would be forever equal and respected.
The decree intended that males and females live together in harmony, each with their unique strengths and weaknesses complimenting the other. Such was the great balance sought by the brother Zen, two living and working as one. Such would be the way of the kingdom.
From this time on the Lord San Simeon would assume another awsome power. He would determine when a soul was ready to leave it's body. This would now be when the body was ready to die and would correlate directly to when the possible learning and growing of the soul was complete. He would then escort the soul back to its former heavenly existence. Much folklore now refers to him as the Grim Reaper, the Angel of Death and many other names. He checks constantly on those souls entrusted to his care. Humans can sometimes feel his presence when they simply know their time is near, no matter their age in years.
Once able to discuss it further with his father, Edouard was to admit that he really did not mind the time, the many years, he spent living in the body Adam. Time has a way of healing deep wounds and in the pristine atmosphere of Atlantis it happened quickly. His advice and urgings led the father to make another decree. From now on souls entering bodies would do so at the earliest possible moment in the human life. Each soul would need a purpose for entering the life and would need a guide, not entering a body, to assist in communications and there to assist in restoring the memory lost in the transition from pure soul to human attachment.
An entire administrative network was established to ensure that souls were trained in the latest communication techniques. The network was to ensure that the message of love from the Lord God was learned by every human. He cared very deeply for his people and all of these souls were to be his promised emissaries. He loved all equally, he was their One God and wanted all to know. Thus shortly after a human child was conceived in its mother's womb, the soul would be prepared to enter. It was a scary thought to the first few souls who allowed themselves to become that small, but it could be done easily when one was serving his or her Lord God. The guiding souls maintained contact from the start with their little charges and this helped keep the lines of communication open. A number of humans were even able to hear some of the conversing. These, who reported what they were hearing, were branded a little silly by their comrades.
Not only did souls now entering the human sphere have to begin so early, now they had to remain until the body died. It mattered not how long the human lived, the soul would be available for the duration. There would be no more irresolute travel into and out of bodies. The level of respect that Edouard had for his body Adam would be maintained by all souls for their bodies. Man had been elevated a notch on the evolutionary ladder when the first son of the Lord God accepted the assignment with the body Adam. There could be no turning back.
The Lord God had many long, endearing friendships with souls of great stature who wished to serve the House much in the same way as Edouard. They were sure they could stand any pain, withstand the temptings of any evil one and serve with pride.
It was time now for the Lord God to keep the promises he made; “I will chose a people, prepare them...” He chose a people which only existed in his mind, not on the earth. He also chose two of those old friends to fulfill his promise. They were Abram and Sarah, delightful friends and once competitors for his position. These two would prepare to enter bodies in a relatively quiet region of the earth. They would be carefully guided so that they would meet each other at the appropriate time, unite and prepare to have a child.
These two did meet and espouse each other, but did not realize the special bond which drew them close and bound them forever in love. Abram could hear the voice of his old friend, the Lord God and sought to serve him well. Abram was tested, his faith in his old friend was tested and finally he and Sarah had a son in their old age. This son went on to form the promised people, the Israelites, the Tribes of Judah. They became the people of God, his chosen ones. Much of their history is recorded in what is now called the Old Testament.
He tested these people just as he had tested Abram and Sarah. He sent his first-born son many times to help in their instruction. Edouard loved serving in any way he could and each time left the many messages in writing when he could so the messages of love would be there for the people forever. He lived here as the great King David and taught the people to pray with song from the heart as together they sang the beautiful psalms. He lived as the great priest Melchisedek and left the basic law of the priesthood for those who followed in his footsteps. He lived as the prophet Elijah to bring the message of the One God to the chosen people. He challenged the waning god Baal and won over him. During this lifetime he foretold the people of his younger brother Emmanuel and of the many things he would do.
Aside from working with his father's chosen people, Edouard also lived many secular lives. Probably his greatest secular achievement was his life as Plato, the teacher, author and philosopher. He expounded on the correctness of living and the properties of the soul. Probably his favorite life here was that lived in the body Paracelcus, the physician, who expounded on the value of knowing and being able to treat the inner workings of the ill person. Always Edouard talked about the nature of the soul. Here, in these lives, he learned many lessons in humility which were aimed at tempering his arrogance. He was a royal prince and often pushed other souls away by lording it over them. He had suffered great pain in the past and often it was fine with him if others suffered also. Love and compassion would need to be learned and this earth in human bodies was an education in itself. The feminine, which had been taken from him, left a void which tended to make him a hard, often times brutal soul. He did, however, feel compassion and love for his little sister, Elsabeth.
She was often forgotten when assignments were handed out but he liked taking her along with him on his earthly missions. She was a part of him which he longed to have back and dearly missed. It was not ever to be that way again. She was a person in her own right and that could not be denied. Most of the men in the family did not care to be around her since she carried no male characteristics. She was labeled a “brat,” “an oddity,” she was not raised in the same traditions as the men were, yet she is to inherit the kingdom with her two older brothers.
Knowing that she would need the experience someday in the future, Edouard brought her on nearly every secular mission so that she would know and understand the human as well as he did. It would be important and he could use her near perfect sight and hearing to his advantage when necessary. She was appreciative and offered herself and her abilities when she could. Often, however, on the missions she would be hurt in some way by him or his actions and on return the two of them would work out his missteps and vow to correct them during the next human foray. Due to this constant sharing of knowledge between them she was able to win the competition in her own right. She is now known as Elsabeth Sabrina, Lord Templar of her father's house, Lady Templar is permitted to those who have difficulty with Lord. The same protocol goes with either since she holds that all are equal.
Man knows not of the son Edouard or the new daughter Elsabeth, the two would not wish to be known by man at the time so that they would not become more important than the messages they delivered. Only now, in the seventieth week of their father's reign do they wish their identities made known.
Man, obstinate man, your God awaits you. Raise yourselves in the morning and praise the Lord God. You have so many false gods in your lives. You do not have to live for money, power or prestige. Listen to the messages brought to you by your souls, calm your thoughts, your lives, relax, the Lord God will provide. Man you are becoming genious, you master the lesser things of the earth and even now are attempting to solve greater mysteries.
The Lord God has his chosen people. They are crude, living in the desert, they would rather submit to his law than live under another's easier rule, always trusting in their Lord God. Their prophets are powerful and well spoken, yet few outside the tribes listen to them or give them credit. The Law becomes important to them, so important that they loose sight of the reasons for their existence in the first place. The teaching is slow, the practice of the Law of God is difficult but manageable for most. These people must be prepared to accept a messiah, a messenger of God's love, lest they misunderstand and do harm to the messenger.
Many members of the tribes of Judah do hear the voice of the Lord God through the years. The prophet Daniel is shown visions of the Lord God as he took his place among his peers. He was given a calendar so that all would know the length of time the reign would last. He was shown what he called the end times and the many things which would happen.
As the Tribes of Judah were busy preparing for the coming of their Messiah the rest of the tribes and clans and peoples of the world were still living day to day. They still clung to their deities and created even more to fill the voids left when influence was no longer felt for the older retired entities. Entire civilizations were decimated as a powerful god left at the bidding of Eden. Each people must find the One God on their own. Humans could now think and feel, dream and imagine, they would be able to find God.
As time drew near for Emmanuel to begin his mission, many events and plans were put into motion. He spent much time with his brother Edouard learning the knowledge of human living known at the time. Emmanuel had spent little time in human body prior to this mission and gladly accepted all the help he could get. For the first time a son of the Lord God would actually identify himself as such and all knew the risks involved when such would be said or implied.
Many support persons would be put in place before the mission. A group of radical holy men called the Essenes, who were led by significant Rabbis, would hold the new teachings for his arrival and teach his human body well the law, the rituals and the new prayer, the Lord's Prayer.
He needed a human family, one that was foretold, from the seeds planted by Edouard previously. Again the list of competitors was searched for souls to fill the positions of parents. Two were chosen and their lifetimes begun, both highly protected, families chosen which were sure to be interwoven without a great deal of manipulation. The father to be, Joseph, was laboring as a carpenter for the Essene school where the mother to be, Mary, was a student in her early teens. The two met, felt the earth move when they were near each other and knew something of importance was happening to them. They planned marriage with the blessings of the school and their parents.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel was ready and would be accompanied on the journey by Edouard. One would live in the body Jesus and the other in the body John, cousins, so that if anything went wrong with the mission the older brother would be there to assist. John would be born to elderly parents who would be unable to raise him long and he would have to be sent to the Essenes to be raised. From this vantage point he would see his cousin often for surely Mary would have him raised as she had been. The master teachers promised her any assistance they could offer, it was their duty.
In the heavens a Father reminisced. He remembered all too well the events of the past when he sent two sons on a fateful mission. Would it happen again. He really had three sons in the world, his lost son, Satan could wreak havoc during what were supposed to be such happy times. He would introduce one of his sons to the world and surely the nations would shout for joy. His chosen people would carry the son on their shoulders in praise as he completed his marvelous works and speeches of love and caring. Surely after the hard and arduous life they lived, being given a messenger from the Lord God, for whom they professed such great love, surely, they would be happy and rejoice. Was this Lord God ready for any disappointment, for any rejection? Surely he was not!
The issue of fear was raised almost immediately since Herod, King in Jerusalem, went on a baby killing spree when he heard that the King of the Jews was born in Bethlehem. Both parents were able to protect their sons quite well. Mary and Joseph went to Egypt after being warned to do so in dreams which they really didn't understand, until the killing started. John was raised for a few years as Jo Anne, wearing girls clothes, until the danger passed. Many were the children slaughtered, wonderful king, still such brutal thought pervaded the times. A message of love was sorely needed.
Jesus and John saw each other often during their adolescent and teen years, attending the Essene schools. Both were considered quite learned in the Law and the concepts of current thought on the Lord God. They were different from the other students of similar age. Both knew and well understood their souls. Both, during the later years of schooling, realized the importance of the mission. What they were about to say and introduce to these chosen people was not yet thought of. It would be new and rather daring. Still they decided to go ahead with their plans, they could have aborted the mission if it was seen to be to dangerous, or if their safety would be compromised at this point.
The two agreed, all that had been promised them was happening or had happened thus far, the mission would begin. John would go into the desert and preach to those who would listen, maybe the shepherds, those without homes, robbers, thieves. He preached and baptized with water. Within several years he had a faithful following who thought that he might be the Messiah, much about him would make them believe such. He cured the sick, preached about the Lord God and lived as a hermit in the desert, all qualities they expected to see in the promised Messiah. He denied their claims.
Jesus began preaching in the marketplaces of Jerusalem and the surrounding towns and was welcome in most except in his hometown, Nazareth. There, he was known as the preacher who didn't like girls and wouldn't marry for some strange reason. They saw him as a little too different to accept him as anything near a Messiah. He did enjoy humans but relatively few of the human trappings. He preferred being poor, being an itinerant preacher. His voice had such flavor that people on the streets could not resist him and so they sat and listened as he spoke. He cured the sick who sought him out. He gathered a group of men and women to carry on his teachings, to work in his camp where all the weary were welcome, where he could lift their spirits.
His followers did, indeed, hold the belief that he was the promised one, the Messiah. Their souls knew who he was very well, they had agreed to accompany him on the mission and stay as long as it took to accomplish the mission. Each had a role to play, even Judas Iscariot, who would betray him to the authorities.
Jesus made his way to the Jordan river where John was preaching and baptizing on the appointed day which the two of them agreed upon those months earlier. Everything was going well, Jesus would continue the mission on his own. The proud Father even voiced his approval at the time, making one of his rare appearances in the lives of men. Shortly, thereafter John was killed by the authorities, no longer needed to safeguard the mission.
The message of God and of souls specifically and in general was not well accepted in his preaching and he could see that changes in the mission would have to be made. He set out to confer with his brother and advisors on the side of a mountain. He brought with him several of his followers that they might learn of those about whom he preached. His disciples who witnessed the event were totally overwhelmed at the intensity of the light emanating from the pure and very powerful souls. They did recognize the one who was John the Baptist and was told that he would come to live and teach among them again, (EN 6). They did recognize other prophets and offered to set up a camp for them.
At the conference Jesus explained his desire to change the focus of the mission to one which included humanistic teachings. The people clamored for it, they needed to know better how to treat their fellow man. They needed to learn how to love. Many were the non-Jews who were coming to him asking for his teaching, his cure for their ailments. He was overwhelmed at the number of gentiles begging for his mercies and good works. All agreed, it was his mission now, he was there among the people and knew best how to modify the mission. All would lend their support and the teachings of the world of souls would wait until man was ready for it.
The soul Emmanuel was so taken aback by man's brutality and crudeness that he ordered his teaching in such a way as to teach love and respect; Visit the sick; Feed the hungry; Clothe the naked; Give alms to the poor; Give up your evil ways; Love your neighbor; Free the enslaved; Love yourselves for you have worth in the eyes of God; Love the Law and the letter of the Law but forget not its intent; Begin now, do not wait, (EN 7).
Not only did he devote much time teaching humans how to get along with each other and about love but he also added some of his favorite lessons from his early life in his Father's House. He was taught great respect for the four basic elementals of creation: earth, wind, fire and water.
One of his first mission acts in front of his followers was to bless water and to turn it into wine, the sweetest ever tasted at the time, (EN 8). Water was holy to him. He blessed it again by walking on it and inviting an apostle to join him. He chose to be with people who made their living from fishing in it.
He spoke of the earth often. He blessed the earth by using it mixed with spit to cure a blind man. He spoke in parables of planting in it. He liked to walk barefoot on the earth. He slept on the earth every night. The earth was his home.
He blessed the wind by holding up his hands in the storm and calming it. He grew his hair long so the wind could blow through it, living by the sea, the wind was his constant companion.
He used fire in very unusual ways. He spoke of a fire in the hearts of men, the flame of love burned there. Later, as a free soul, he blessed fire by turning himself into tongues of fire which burned over the heads of the apostles and ignited their souls into action so that his teachings could be spread.
Not all men of his time listened to his message of love and respect, however. In the end of his third human year of teaching, those persons in power, the Romans, the puppet government in the region and the powerful Jewish leaders conspired to have him killed, (EN 9). It was done. This needless, slow, agonizing death so angered the brother Edouard that at the moment his brother died, he landed on the earth with both feet, with so much weight that the earth quaked, the sanctuary curtain in the temple was torn from top to bottom. The darkness he felt in his heart was transformed to block the light of the sun for a short time. Such anger and rage had not been known in the heavens, he would revenge this needless death, these people would pay.
Because this death was premature and ill-timed, alternate plans had to be made. For two days the Lord God met with his sons and the Lord San Simeon. The results would suffice. Emmanuel would appear again to his followers as he chose to, with his soul transformed to appear similar to the body Jesus before it was killed. He could again attempt to teach them about the life of souls after they leave bodies which die. His example would suffice. Lord San Simeon would assist if the need arose.
Edouard was assigned to procure the Jesus body from the Romans and place it under guard where no man could ever find it and do it harm again. He was also intended to be the paraclete promised by Jesus and Emmanuel during his last days and even this had to be changed because of his anger; better to have Emmanuel do it for himself than to have an angry one do less than an adequate job. His choice to bow out of the assignment was praised by all. All knew of his often brutal nature and now, even raging with anger, he could make a sensible choice. He would return when he had calmed down a bit.
For his ability to love under fire, for suffering the immense pain of loss and death, for being so single-minded in his mission, for giving up the human trappings of married life and conjugal love and for never loosing his trust in his father and Lord God, he was elevated to a position of high honor...Micah Emmanuel, Lord Excaliber in his father's house. He had learned the many lessons needed, he had shown others the way to the Father's house. He would not need to return to live in a human body again.
The brother and son Edouard would again serve the Lord God. His next family mission was to live here as the Prophet Mohammed, his anger not fully contained, the people who followed him would have a different set of values. An eye for and eye would be his way of dealing with enemies and anyone who did not agree with his austere and angry tenets were considered enemies, the followers of Satan. The location of these people was chosen because of the close proximity to the place were his younger brother was needlessly and brutally executed, (EN 10). His executioners would be haunted until, like Edouard, they learned the lessons of love without strings.
His next family mission was a life on the European continent, lived in direct response to the corruption he saw in the church started by his brother's followers. The institution they had created was now considering itself to be much more important than the message that they used to preach. Money was now more important than message. He had hoped to influence change from within the church but found it near impossible to do so. He did the next best thing by nailing his list of grievances to the church door, (EN 11). He was heard and many people were ready for his message.
He has since spent several lives here in various secular capacities ridding himself of the last vestiges of his brutal anger, of his sometimes overpowering arrogance. He spent time here making amends to those souls he had hurt in the past so that he and they could go on to the father's house in love. He has learned to love from his pure masculine soul. He no longer wants or needs the feminine which had been taken from him so long before. He is whole now and ready to assume his future duties.
Let the new heaven and the new earth begin.
